Custer had it coming. And the Indians were far retaliated against.

If you get a chance to see the Little Big Horn battle sight, you will feel an eerie but calming, peaceful air about the place. Like peace finally in the Indian and Gov't memorials.

But, some Indians will never see any peace about the whole thing.

That he did and so did those in positions of power but not all got what was due to them.

I have been there and experienced the feelings you describe.  It was a grey, cloudy, blustery day when I was there and that wind made it very eerie and the other visitors were all very subdued.

I can understand why but sometimes you have to let go of the past to move forward.
