Hi folks,
Just wanted to plug the Heroes at Highclere event that has been organised by Lady Fiona - Countess of Carnarvon at their stately home, highclere castle.
This is a special event to celebrate 90 years of the Royal British Legion and to raise funds for The Poppy Appeal, Help for Heroes and the 3 service benevolent funds.
It will be a fun packed day they tell me with WW1 trenches, paintball arena, funfair and exhibits all around the grounds.
The house itself served as a hospital during WW1 and one wing is being recreated as a military hospital complete with operating theatre.
You will also be able to tour the house and the grounds as part of the admission.
The Legion Riders (myself included) will be there along with over 100 motorcycles of all types and vintages.
Oh and don't tell anyone but the Royal Family will be there too but you didn;t hear it from me ok

It should be a good day out, especially if the weather holds and it is a nice day, so tell your friends and bring them along to Highclere Castle newar Newbury, Berkshire.
Have a look at
www.highclerecastle.co.uk for more info on the house and the event.
Cheers
Guns
